Alex Waner

Alex Waner is an experienced professional in the field of operations engineering, currently serving as the Operations Engineering Manager at Verdad Resources since April 2019. Previously, Alex held positions as a Production Engineer at HighPoint Resources and as a Production Engineer at Bill Barrett Corporation, where significant achievements included leading a project that reduced lease operating expenses through the successful plugging and abandonment of 14 wells. Earlier experience also includes a role as an Operations Engineering Intern at FourPoint Energy, LLC and Bill Barrett Corporation, where Alex contributed to various production and completion projects across multiple basins. Alex holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
