Kelsey Ceccarelli

Kelsey Ceccarelli has a diverse work experience in the field of sustainability and engineering. Kelsey is currently working as the Director of Engineering at Verdani Partners since December 2022. Prior to this, they held various positions at Verdani Partners, including Senior Engineering Manager, Engineering Manager, and Associate Engineering Manager. In these roles, they managed data and technical services of the ESG program for commercial real estate portfolios. Kelsey also assisted clients with GRESB submissions, completed ENERGY STAR Certifications, and assisted with LEED certifications. Kelsey was responsible for overall tracking of ESG data, management of sustainability and efficiency projects, and conducting ASHRAE Audit site visits.

Before joining Verdani Partners, Kelsey worked at Balboa Park Cultural Partnership as a Sustainability Coordinator. In this role, they benchmarked energy, water, and waste for 29 organizations, created reports, and managed educational meeting logistics. Kelsey also handled marketing activities such as social media management, newsletter writing, and blog posts.

Earlier in their career, Kelsey worked at Solar Hybrid Design as an Intern, where they worked with excel spreadsheets to create product databases and completed administrative tasks. Kelsey also served as an Intern at Sonoma Land Trust.

Kelsey Ceccarelli obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies & Planning: Energy Management & Design from Sonoma State University during the period of 2011 to 2015. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications including Certified Energy Manager (CEM) from the Association of Energy Engineers in November 2020, LEED Green Associate from the U.S. Green Building Council in December 2019, Fitwel Ambassador from the Center for Active Design in November 2019, and Master Composter from the Solana Center for Environmental Innovation in April 2018.
