Kristen Wernick

Kristen Wernick currently serves as the Senior Manager of ESG and Head of Biodiversity at Verdani Partners since December 2020, following a progression of roles within the company, including ESG & Biodiversity Manager, Associate ESG Manager, and Sustainability Coordinator. Prior to Verdani Partners, Kristen held the position of Assistant General Manager at Tree of Life Nursery from December 2019 to December 2020 and served as Horticulture Outreach Manager and Outreach Coordinator at the California Native Plant Society from June 2017 to December 2019. Kristen's experience also includes working as a Water Use Efficiency Specialist at Santa Margarita Water District from June 2014 to May 2017. Kristen holds a Master of Business Administration from The Paul Merage School of Business at UC Irvine, an Associate of Science in Landscape Design from Saddleback College, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies with an emphasis in Geography from UC Santa Barbara.
