John Newman

John Newman is an experienced professional in the brewing industry, currently serving as the Quality & Sustainability Manager at Verdant Brewing Co since September 2020, where additional roles have included Packaging Manager and Cellaring & Packaging. Prior to this, John held positions at Harbour Brewing Co as a Brewer / Cellaring and at Hop Stuff Brewery as a Production Brewer. John also has a managerial background, having served as General Manager at BEER REBELLION LTD and Front Of House Manager at The Orchard. Earlier in their career, John worked as a Quality Assurance Manager at IMS Health from October 2000 to January 2008. Academic credentials include a degree in Sonic Art / Creative Music Tech from Canterbury Christ Church University, with a focus on Art/Art Studies.
