Kartik Arcot Sridhar has a diverse work experience in the field of robotics and engineering. Kartik is currently employed as a Robotics Software Engineer at Verdant Robotics, Inc. since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Summer Intern at Carnegie Robotics LLC in 2020, where they gained valuable experience in the industry.

Kartik's work experience also includes their role as an Engineer at Project Jatayu from December 2017 to May 2019. In this role, they served as the Lead of Vision and Communications sub-teams, contributing to the development of autonomous UAVs for navigation, survey, and delivery. Kartik represented India in international UAV competitions, SUAS-2018 and 2019.

Additionally, Kartik worked as a Summer Intern at Samsung India in June and July 2018. Kartik was assigned to the Communication Networks Research Division and played a key role in developing a mission-critical application for Korean railways, which would be deployed in the US for FirstNet, a nationwide wireless broadband dedicated to public safety. During their internship, they built a tool used for testing a group-call/chat client application codebase.

Kartik Arcot Sridhar completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from RV College Of Engineering from 2015 to 2019. Following that, they pursued a Master of Robotic Systems Development (MRSD) degree in Robotics at Carnegie Mellon University from 2019 to 2021. In addition to their formal education, Kartik obtained several certifications, including a Master of Science from Carnegie Mellon University in June 2021. Kartik also completed various Coursera certifications, such as "Convolutional Neural Networks" in December 2017, "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" in November 2017, "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" in November 2017, and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" in October 2017.
