Radu R.

Radu R. has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Radu is currently employed at Verdant Robotics as the Director of Product, where they started in December 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at the same company from September 2022 to December 2022. Radu also worked as an Engineering Consultant at Verdant Robotics from June 2022 to August 2022.

Before joining Verdant Robotics, Radu R. worked as an Engineering Consultant at Thalo Labs from March 2022 to July 2022. Radu also had a role as an Engineering Consultant at Keystone Tower Systems from August 2021 to March 2022.

Radu R. worked at Cruise Automation from October 2018 to July 2020, where they served as the Tech Lead for Advanced Sensing. Prior to that, they worked on Systems Integration - Sensors and Compute at Cruise Automation from November 2017 to October 2018.

Radu R. has also worked as an independent consultant, specializing in Manufacturing and Automation Engineering from February 2017 to October 2017.

Earlier in their career, Radu R. worked at Google as a Mechanical Engineer from May 2014 to July 2016. Radu was responsible for design and manufacturing of optics and camera-related products. Radu led mechanical and system design for a consumer electronics project and developed automated tools for assembly and inspection.

Radu R. gained experience as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Wave 80 Biosciences, Inc. from March 2012 to May 2014. In this role, they led the mechanical engineering efforts for a fully integrated diagnostic device and developed methods for in-house manufacturing of microfluidic devices.

Radu started their career as a Mechanical Engineer at Cogenra Solar from August 2009 to March 2012 and as a Systems Engineer at Wilson TurboPower, Inc. from February 2009 to July 2009.

Radu R. has also been involved in academic projects. Radu worked as a D-Lab Project Mentor and a Project Assistant at MIT from January 2009 to May 2009 and October 2008 to February 2009, respectively.

Radu R.'s education history is as follows:

From 1999 to 2001, Radu attended Red Cross Nordic United World College (RCNUWC) and obtained an IB degree. The field of study for this degree is not specified.

From 2001 to 2005, Radu pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

From 2006 to 2008, Radu continued their education at MIT and attained a Master of Science (M.S) degree in Mechanical Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Radu also obtained several certifications. In August 2017, they completed the Machine Learning Specialization, which included courses on hyperparameter tuning, regularization and optimization, as well as classification, clustering and retrieval, regression, neural networks, deep learning, and structuring machine learning projects. These certifications were obtained through Coursera.

Furthermore, in March 2021, Radu acquired the certification "GETTING STARTED WITH DEEPSTREAM FOR VIDEO ANALYTICS ON JETSON NANO" from NVIDIA.
