Amy Burton is a seasoned professional in the field of horticultural science, currently serving as the Senior Director of Product Development and formerly as Early Technology Validation Director at Verdesian Life Sciences since November 2017. Previously, Amy held the position of Team Lead for Trait Research at Bayer Crop Science from January 2014 to November 2017 and worked as a Plant Physiologist at USDA-ARS between July 2010 and January 2014. Amy earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Horticultural Science from Penn State University, a Master of Science (M.S.) in Horticultural Science from the University of Georgia, and a Bachelor's degree from Sarah Lawrence College.
