Chris Ferreira

Chris Ferreira is an experienced professional in the agricultural sector, currently serving as Managing Director for LATAM & Spain at Verdesian Life Sciences since February 2020. Prior roles at Verdesian include Director of Marketing and Business Development for LatAm & Iberia and Business Development Manager for Latin America. Prior to Verdesian, Chris served as Sales Manager for Latin America at KEYTRADE AG and as an entrepreneur at Saint Leaf - Landscape Management. With a background at Syngenta from July 2008 to September 2016, Chris held positions including New Business Development and Marketing Manager, focusing on the sugarcane, potato, and cotton markets primarily in North Latin America. Initial experience includes a role as Sugar Cane Harvest and Logistic Supervisor at São Martinho. Chris holds Master's Degrees in Agricultural Business and Management and Soil Science and Agronomy from USP and an Engineer's Degree in Agricultural Engineering from Universidade Federal do Paraná.
