Marvin Shi

Marvin Shi has extensive experience in mechanical engineering and rapid prototyping. Marvin has worked as a Mechatronics Engineer Intern at FTXT Energy Technology Co., Ltd., where they designed and maintained a fuel cell stack test station. Marvin also worked as a Mechanical Engineering Contractor at Verdi, where they designed and operated plumbing equipment testing equipment.

Marvin's experience also includes roles at The University of British Columbia, where they served as the Manager of Rapid Prototyping Service, overseeing the 3D printing shop and managing external relations. Marvin also served as the Co-supervisor of the Machine Shop, assisting in training students and managing the facility. In addition, they worked as a Student Technician of Rapid Prototyping Service, gaining hands-on experience in the field.

Marvin was a member of the Vehicle Mechanics Team at UBC Supermileage, assisting in the redesign and testing of high-efficiency vehicles. Marvin also held the position of Vice President Technical at UBC Design League, overseeing technical operations and hosting CAD workshops.
