Cheryl Vierling

Cheryl Vierling has extensive experience in the field of regulatory and revenue accounting. Cheryl has held various senior positions in different companies throughout their career.

Cheryl'smost recent position was as a Senior Regulatory/Revenue Accountant at Verdun Oil Company, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Regulatory Accountant at CAMS from July 2021 to October 2022.

Before that, Cheryl worked as a Senior Regulatory Accountant at Wapiti Energy, LLC for a brief period in January 2021. Cheryl also held the same position at Amplify Energy Corp from November 2019 to September 2020, where they handled tax returns and royalty reporting for multiple entities, as well as reviewed tax and royalty account balances.

In August 2019, Cheryl worked as a Senior Regulatory Accountant at Occidental, where they were involved in the ONRR Revaluation project and resolved audits with ONRR.

Earlier in their career, Cheryl worked as an Auditing Consultant at AMS-PAR and as a Senior Regulatory/Revenue Accountant at Quantum Resources Management, LLC. At Quantum Resources Management, they handled various regulatory and revenue accounting tasks, including ONRR royalty reports, severance taxes, and engagement audits.

Cheryl Vierling earned an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from Bishop College, which they attended from 1990 to 1993. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration at the University of South Alabama and completed their studies from 1992 to 1996.
