Nick Johnston

Nick Johnston has extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Nick began their career as a Tax Manager at NatWest Financial & Investment Services in 1988, where they worked until 1997. Nick then joined Wall Street Associates Hong Kong as a Director from 1997 to 1999. In 1999, they founded their own recruitment company in Tokyo called Wall Street Associates Japan, where they served as the Chief Executive Officer until 2012. During their tenure, the company achieved ISO 9001 2000 certification and expanded into various sectors and cities in Japan. Afterwards, from 2012 to 2013, they briefly worked as an Advisor at en-Asia Holdings Limited. Since 2013, Nick has been a self-employed investor, focusing on supporting and mentoring ambitious entrepreneurs. Nick joined Veremark in 2019 as a Non-Executive Director and assumed the same role at Smart Recruit Online in 2021. Currently, Nick is serving as the Executive Chairman at AiRecruiter, a position they assumed in October 2020.
