Fatma Ayhan

Fatma Ayhan has extensive experience in the field of computational biology and neuroscience. Fatma is currently working as an Associate Principal Computational Biologist at Verge Genomics since September 2023. Prior to this, they held positions at Neurocrine Biosciences, where they worked as a Scientist from November 2021 to September 2023, and as a Postdoctoral Scientist from July 2020 to October 2021. Fatma also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas from March 2017 to June 2020. Fatma Ayhan's expertise lies in the intersection of genetics and neuroscience, specializing in computational approaches to understanding brain-related disorders.

Fatma Ayhan received their Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Bilkent University in 2010. Fatma then went on to pursue their Doctor of Philosophy in Biomedical Sciences and Genetics at the University of Florida, completing the program in 2016.
