Kevan Shah

Kevan Shah's work experience includes being a Team Lead for Disease Modeling & Stem Cell Biology at Verge Genomics starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Discovery Biology at Herophilus from 2017 to 2023, where they developed a drug discovery platform for complex brain diseases. Kevan also worked as a Senior Research Associate at Gladstone Institutes from 2014 to 2017, where they collaborated with Google Accelerated Sciences and co-discovered the Genetically-encoded cell Death Indicator (GEDI). Before that, they were a Process Engineer (MSAT) and Research Associate at Lonza from 2012 to 2014. Kevan also worked as a Research Associate III at iPierian Inc. from 2009 to 2012 and as a Graduate Researcher at UC San Diego from 2007 to 2009.

Kevan Shah attended the University of California, Berkeley and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Bioengineering. Kevan also attended UC San Diego and obtained a Master of Science degree in Bioengineering.
