Dean B.

Dean B. has a diverse work experience in various roles and positions. Starting with their most recent role, they are currently a Board Member at Indigo since July 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Advisor at Shiru starting from May 2022.

Before their current roles, Dean co-founded Vergent Bioscience in 2015 and held the position of Co-founder and board member. Dean was also a Member of the Board of Directors at Omeat from February 2022 to March 2023.

Dean has also worked at X, the moonshot factory, where they held multiple roles. Dean was an Advisor from January 2020 to January 2022 and served as a Project Founder and Lead for various projects from April 2016 to December 2019.

In addition, Dean has experience in the food industry as they were the President and CEO of Tyson Foods from October 2020 to June 2021. Dean also served as a Member of the Board of Directors and President during different time periods within the company.

Prior to their role at Tyson Foods, Dean was a Partner at The SEED Partners and held the role of Partner, SEED Ventures. Dean also worked as a Consultant at Cleveland Clinic Innovations and CEO of Ohio Orthopedic Commercialization Center in 2014.

Dean's earlier experience includes positions at OrthoHelix and Tornier, where they had strategic marketing and business development roles. At Tornier, they were the VP of Product Excellence and held a cross-functional position working with various departments to deliver value to the extremities-surgery patient and other stakeholders.

Dean B. completed their Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Marketing at Miami University from 1995 to 1998. Following this, they attended Harvard Business School from 2003 to 2005, where they obtained an MBA degree. Additionally, it is known that Dean B. attended Beavercreek High School and Northmont High School, but the specific years and degrees obtained at these institutions are unknown.
