Andrew Robbins

Andrew Robbins has a range of experience in engineering and management roles. Andrew currently holds the position of Vice President of Engineering at VergeSense since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Samsara, Inc as a Director of Engineering from September 2018 to May 2022, and as a Manager of Engineering from January 2018 to September 2018. From 2011 to 2017, Andrew held the position of Senior Director of Engineering at Splunk, where they managed various teams focused on search, dashboards, visualizations, and reporting. Before that, they were the Manager of Software Development at Cisco Consumer Products - Flip Video from May 2009 to October 2011. Andrew also has experience at Pure Digital Technologies as a Manager of Client Software Development and as a Software Engineer from October 2008 to May 2009 and December 2004 to October 2008, respectively. Early in their career, Andrew worked as a Software Engineer at Sportvision, where they contributed to various projects including embedded software for tracking race cars, a visual tracking system for athletes, and a graphics system for golf.

Andrew Robbins earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Stanford University in 2000. Andrew later obtained a Master of Science in Computer Science from the same institution in 2002.
