Bert Taekels

Bert Taekels is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in product development and maintenance. Currently serving as a Product Development Engineer at Vergokan since May 2021, Bert has previously worked as a Maintenance Engineer at Unilin-Dynea and held various roles including Engineering Consultant at Engi Talents and Production Planner at Wynn's Europe. Early career experience includes roles as a Study Engineer at MCA BENELUX and External Engineer in piping at ENGIE Fabricom Belgium, along with a vacation job as a Warehouse Worker at Hydrauliek Morreels. Bert holds a Master's degree in Elektromechanica with a specialization in aviation from KU Leuven and has pursued additional education at Linköping University, VIA University College, and KaHo Sint Lieven, where a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design and Production Technology was obtained.
