Wouter Hendrickx has extensive experience in innovation management, currently serving as Manager of Innovation Acceleration for Strategic Innovation and Smart Life Sciences at Verhaert since June 2020. Additionally, Wouter fulfills the role of Business Development Manager for Smart Medical, where the focus is on supporting health companies with their challenges. Wouter also engages in volunteer work as National President of Chirojeugd-Vlaanderen vzw since July 2021 and as a member of the general assembly for Vlaamse Dienst Speelpleinwerk vzw since January 2017, previously including a chair position. Wouter earned an MSc in Product Development from the University of Antwerp from 2015 to 2019 and has a background in industrial sciences from Vrij Technisch Instituut Leuven. Furthermore, Wouter holds a higher degree in clarinet from Stad Leuven Academie en Conservatorium, achieved in 2015.
