Marc Alan Mathies

Marc Alan Mathies has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the marketing and digital media industry. Currently, they are the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Marketing Technology and General Manager (GM) of NXTDRIVE™ at Vericast, where they are responsible for reshaping the company into a digital marketing technology business. Marc Alan oversees the development of cutting-edge software, data-driven solutions, and consumer intent predictions.

Before joining Vericast, Mathies served as the Vice President (VP) of Product Management at Valassis Marketing Solutions, where they led the development of custom-tailored products for large advertisers, achieving a high return on ad investment across print and digital channels. Marc Alan also held the position of Executive Director of Digital Product Management, where they implemented digital coupon solutions and content development strategies for Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) brands.

Mathies began their career as a Graphic Designer for Akron-based publications before transitioning to roles at Crain Communications. At Crain Communications, they served as the Digital Product Director, leading a support department for multiple online properties. Additionally, they worked as a Product Manager, providing workflow automation and editorial support for Detroit-based magazines.

Mathies also had teaching experience as a Design Instructor at Baker College, where they educated and empowered aspiring digital media designers, emphasizing problem-solving and critical thinking.

Throughout their career, Mathies has demonstrated a track record of driving revenue growth, pioneering innovation, and leading transformative initiatives in the marketing and digital media industry.

Marc Alan Mathies has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Design and Visual Communications from Ohio University and an MBA in Business: E-commerce from Baker College.
