Maria Giovino

Maria Giovino has a diverse work experience in the field of quality control and stem cell research. Maria most recently worked as the Director of Quality Control at Vericel Corporation. Prior to that, they held various roles at Provia Laboratories, including Laboratory Director, Associate Director of Cell Processing, and Quality Control Manager. Maria also worked at U Mass Medical School Human Stem Cell Bank as a Quality Control Manager, where they were responsible for overseeing the documentation and testing of stem cells. Maria has also worked at Organogenesis as a Flow Cytometry Manager/Senior Scientist, ViaCell as a Senior Manager/Senior Scientist, Boston Scientific as a Research Scientist II, ImmergeBioTherapeutics/BioTransplant as an Associate Scientist, and Massachusetts General Hospital as a Senior Research Technologist. Throughout their career, they have gained extensive experience in cell culture, characterization, and quality control.

Maria Giovino obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell from 1985 to 1989.
