Tom Sato

Tom Sato has a long history of business development and leadership roles. Tom began their career in 2000 as the Founder, President and CEO of Tokyo IPO Corp. Japan, a Japanese IPO web portal. In 2005, they took on the role of Director of New Business Development at Netyear Group, where they developed mobile contents business and created a GPS location based restaurant flash marketing coupon site. In 2007, they became the Principal of Tom Sato Business Development, where they worked to break into new markets and generate revenue. In 2008, they took on the role of Japan Representative at Sales Gate International, where they arranged distribution deals, strategic alliance deals, OEM license deals, and strategic venture investments. In 2012, they became the Organizer of VCLP Japan. In 2014, they took on the role of Japan Representative at MyPermission, where they put together multi-million product distribution and investment deals. In 2015, they became the Managing Partner of Innovation Finders Capital, where they helped major Japanese corporations find innovative startups. In 2018, they joined the Board of Directors at AI Dynamics. In 2021, they became the Director of Board of Directors and COO at VeriClouds. Throughout their career, Tom Sato has worked to create and facilitate business development opportunities.

Tom Sato attended Haberdashers' Askes School and then went on to pursue a B Sc. (Hon.) in Astronomy and Physics from the University of London, University College London between 1979 and 1982.
