Vinayak Barve is the current VP of Engineering at Vericor Power Systems. Vinayak has also worked as a Principal Engineer at Siemens from October 2006 to March 2016, and as a Visiting Researcher at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from July 2001 to August 2001.

Barve has extensive experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams for the development of fuel flexible (natural gas, syngas (H2/CO blends) and liquid fuels) low emissions (NOx, CO) Siemens Gas Turbine (SGT6-5000F/SGT6-8000H class) Combustors (fuel nozzles, baskets, transitions). Vinayak is also experienced in overseeing engineering analysis (CFD, heat transfer, FEA, high pressure combustion testing, flow testing, FMEA's) performed by internal and external resources.

Vinayak Barve received their Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineer from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Vinayak then attended The University of Texas at Austin for their Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin.

They are on a team with Tammy LeBlanc - CFO, Glenn Duffard Jr. - VP of Supply Chain, and Umberto Marseglia - Chief Commercial Officer & VP of Oil & Gas. Their manager is Bill Bonadio, President & CEO.
