Ryan Kris has worked in a variety of roles across multiple companies since 2005. From 2005 to 2007, they were a Service Desk Analyst at the London Borough of Camden. From 2007 to 2012, they worked at Internode in a number of roles, including Contact Centre Manager, Helpdesk Manager, and Business Analyst. From 2012 to 2014, they were a Contact Centre Manager at iiNet. From 2014 to 2017, they were the Director of Digital Serf Consulting. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Technical Product Specialist at LeapSheep. From 2018 to 2019, they were an Associate Director and Senior Manager at BDO in Australia. In 2019, they became Co-Chair of Blockchain Australia Young Professionals and in 2021, they became Cofounder and COO of Verida, a multi-chain protocol for interoperable database storage and messaging built on decentralized identity.
Ryan Kris has a diverse educational background. Ryan obtained a Bachelor of Business from the University of South Australia in 2003, with a major in Management Information Systems. Ryan then completed a Professional Management Program at the University of Adelaide in 2011. In 2012, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Adelaide, with a major in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2014, they studied Digital Technologies at Aarhus University. Additionally, they have earned two certifications: Certified Bitcoin Professional from the CryptoCurrency Certification Consortium (C4) in September 2021, and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance.
