Michael Amster

Michael Amster has extensive work experience in technology and engineering roles. Michael served as the VP of Engineering at Verifi Inc. starting in 2019. Prior to that, they were the VP Engineering at Ticketmaster from 2017 to 2019, where they led technical teams and worked on automated abuse prevention systems. Michael was the CTO at textPlus, Inc. from 2015 to 2017, focusing on technical leadership and cost reduction. Michael also worked as a consultant at WNX.com from 1995 to 2017, providing custom solutions for difficult problems. Additionally, they served as the CTO at ParqCity, Inc. in 2014, working on parking payment solutions. Michael was a Technology Advisor and later the CTO at Storitz Inc. from 2010 to 2011, specializing in self-storage technology. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Software Engineer at Madison Tyler LLC and EWT, LLC, focusing on high-frequency trading systems. Michael also held the position of Sr. Director Technology at ShopZilla from 2005 to 2007, overseeing inventory engineering and Java development. Lastly, they served as the Director of Development at Zenith Insurance from 2002 to 2005, managing J2EE development and offshore partnerships.

Michael Amster attended Princeton University from 1986 to 1990, where they earned their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree at UCLA from 1990 to 1992, specializing in Computer Science. Prior to their higher education, Michael completed their high school education at the Harvard School from 1980 to 1986. Additionally, in July 2019, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera.
