Daniel Franz is a Wissenschaftlicher Referent at Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V. since February 2023, focusing on digitalized and efficient manufacturing technologies in aviation research. Previously, Daniel conducted a master's thesis at Miele, achieving a top grade for the implementation and evaluation of an innovative sliding ring seal for dishwashers. Earlier academic work includes a bachelor's thesis at Volkswagen AG on polymer materials for magnetic fixation in rotors, also with high commendation. Daniel's experience extends to development and project coordination in electric drives at Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln and tutoring in technical mechanics. Daniel holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Cologne University of Applied Sciences and two Bachelor of Engineering degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln and California State University, Long Beach.
