Miguel Abdo has extensive work experience in engineering and leadership roles. Miguel started their career at AT&T Bell Laboratories in 1984 as an MTS. In 1990, they joined Paradyne Corporation as the Director of Engineering, where they led the development of hardware and software data communications equipment. During their time at Paradyne, they achieved significant accomplishments, such as delivering products early and implementing a software architecture that increased product output. In 2005, Miguel joined Vispero™ as the Vice President of Engineering. Miguel successfully integrated two companies post-acquisition and played a key role in uniting three engineering organizations. Miguel's most recent role is as the Vice President of Engineering at Verifone, where they are responsible for product engineering for payment processing products in the petroleum market. Miguel has collaborated with product management and has been instrumental in shaping the product roadmap.

Miguel Abdo completed their higher education with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Northwestern University. Miguel attended Northwestern University from 1984 to 1985. Prior to their Master's degree, Miguel Abdo earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science & Math from the University of Miami. Miguel pursued their undergraduate studies from 1980 to 1984. Additionally, Miguel Abdo obtained the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) certification from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in February 2022.
