Vinita Underwood

Vinita Underwood is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in healthcare and project management. Currently serving as Program Manager for Marketing & Communications at Verily since March 2022, Vinita oversees core marketing processes and co-leads the allyship employee resource group, fostering inclusivity and professional growth. Previous roles include Protocol Digitization Specialist, Program Analyst at the CDC Foundation, and various positions within the Fairfax County Health Department focused on public health and epidemiological investigations. Vinita's clinical background includes nursing leadership at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and clinical research management at Inova Heart and Vascular Institute. Vinita holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health from George Mason University.
