Mikko Vainikainen

Mikko Vainikainen is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in software protection and multimedia technology. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Verimatrix since September 2017, Mikko previously held positions such as Lead Security Software Engineer at Intopalo and Senior Software Engineer at Konecranes. Mikko's extensive career includes significant roles at Nokia Research Center, where notable contributions involved the implementation of the ANSI-C runtime for OpenCL and the development of high-performance web server architectures. With a Master of Science degree in Software Engineering from Tampere University of Technology, Mikko has demonstrated expertise in various R&D projects and has a rich history in software maintenance and protocol research.
