Atalay Aktaş

Atalay Aktaş has extensive experience in marketing and leadership roles. Atalay currently serves as the Global Head of Go-To-Market (GTM) at VeriPark, a global solutions provider for financial institutions. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Field Marketing, EMEA at EIS Ltd, where they were responsible for field marketing initiatives across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. At Genesys, Atalay held various senior regional marketing manager positions, overseeing the marketing strategy and initiatives for the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey. Atalay also worked at Microsoft for several years, serving as the Commercial Marketing Manager for the Office Business Group and Solution Sales Manager in the Enterprise Sales Group. Earlier in their career, Atalay worked at Kyocera Mita and Vestel in management roles focused on customer support and technical services.

Atalay Aktaş has a diverse education history. In 1990-1994, they attended Edirne Yıldırım Beyazıt Anadolu Lisesi and focused on Mathematics. From 1994-1997, they attended Çanakkale Fen Lisesi and studied Science. Atalay then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science Engineering from Istanbul University, graduating in 2001.

Continuing their education, Atalay completed a Master's degree in Executive MBA from Işık Üniversitesi from 2004-2007. In 2020, they enrolled in the Executive Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, specializing in Business Administration and Management. The following year, in 2021, Atalay pursued Professional Development for Managers with a focus on Digital Marketing Strategy at Harvard Extension School.

In addition to their formal education, Atalay has obtained various certifications to enhance their skill set. Notable certifications include B2B Go-to-Market Strategy and Create a Go-to-Market Plan from LinkedIn, Project Management Fundamentals from Udemy, and the Harvard Digital Marketing Strategy certification from the Professional Development division of Harvard University. Atalay also obtained the Microsoft System Engineer certification from Microsoft in 2001.
