George Meier

George Meier is the current Chief Revenue Officer at VeriShip. Prior to this, they were the Director of Freight Brokerage at Freightquote from April 2007 to May 2020, where they were responsible for developing team and market strategies to drive profitable growth in KS, OK, and Southwestern MO. Meier has also worked as the Special Services Manager at YRC Freight from November 1999 to April 2007, where they were responsible for the growth and profit of customized supply chain solutions in KS, NE, SD, CO, MT, and NM. Meier began their career as a Sales Representative at Buckeye International from May 1999 to November 1999.

George Meier's educational career consists of completing a BS in Public Policy & Public Administration from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, followed by attending Bridgton Academy and CBC. George then went on to Loras College before obtaining their Certified Transportation Broker certification from the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA).

Their manager is Shawn McCarrick, CEO. They work with Ryan Clement - CFO, Tracey Meyer - Chief Product Officer, and Ami Bensman - Chief Marketing Officer.
