Damien Payton has extensive work experience in the field of information security and incident response. Damien served as the Director of Security Operations at Verisign, leading three teams and overseeing various functions such as incident response and vulnerability management. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Manager of Incident Response at Verisign, where they managed a team and was responsible for monitoring, content development, and incident management planning.

Before joining Verisign, Damien worked at AIG as the Manager of Incident Response & Threat Hunting. Damien played a crucial role in developing the security operations center and led a team in monitoring and incident response activities. At FireEye, Inc., Damien served as a Senior SecOps Engineer and led investigations of security breaches, collaborated with developers, and conducted proactive assessments.

Earlier in their career, Damien worked at GE Healthcare as a Lead Security IR & EVM Analyst, where they investigated and reacted to cyber espionage attacks and supervised a team of outsourced contractors.
