Martha Kimes

Martha Kimes has an extensive work experience in the legal field. From 1997 to 2001, they worked as an Associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Martha then moved on to become an Assistant General Counsel at Make-A-Wish America from 2001 to 2006. In 2008, Martha joined GoDaddy as a VP & Deputy General Counsel, where they led the global IP and marketing functions and developed the company's marketing compliance program. Martha stayed with GoDaddy until 2019. In 2019, Martha joined Verisign as a Senior Director & Senior Corporate Counsel, where they advise on IP, compliance, marketing, and product issues, and manages the company's international trademark portfolio. In addition to their legal career, Martha also works as a Freelance Crossword Puzzle Constructor.

Martha Kimes holds a J.D. degree in Law from Columbia Law School, and a B.A. degree in Philosophy & Psychology double major from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Additionally, they are a member of the NY Bar, AZ Bar (currently inactive), and VA Bar (in-house).
