Sunita Nayak

Sunita Nayak has a extensive work experience in software engineering and project management spanning multiple companies and roles. Currently, they are working as a Director of Software Engineering at Verisign, where they have been since 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Manager of Software Engineering at Verisign from 2019 to 2022. Before Verisign, Sunita worked as an Application Development Manager Agile at the National Student Clearinghouse from 2018 to 2019. Sunita also served as a Technical Program Manager at the Association of American Medical Colleges from 2016 to 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Program Manager SAFe at Accenture Federal Services from 2014 to 2016. Earlier in their career, Sunita held various roles at CC Pace, Spin Systems, IBM, L&T Infotech Ltd, and Larsen and Toubro Infotech Ltd, focusing on software development, agile methodologies, and project management.

Sunita Nayak obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Utkal University from 1995 to 1999. Sunita also holds several certifications including SAFe Agilist Certification, Certified SAFe Agilist, Certified Scrum Master, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), and Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from various institutions such as Scaled Agile, Inc. and Scrum Alliance.
