Anjana Venugopalan

Anjana Venugopalan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data services and consultancy. Currently serving as the Chief Data Officer at Verisk since August 2007, Anjana leads the commercialization of insights and the implementation of BI solutions, significantly contributing to the enterprise-wide adoption of Power BI and ThoughtSpot. Anjana has also played a vital role in fostering a data culture and optimizing data processes. Prior experience includes positions as Team Lead in Enterprise Data Architecture and Visualization at Citi, and Data Management Consultant at Satyam Computer Services, where Anjana worked with high-profile clients such as GE Capital Bank and Merrill Lynch. Anjana holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from NSS College of Engineering.
