Joona Vepsäläinen

Joona Vepsäläinen has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple companies.

Starting in 2009, Joona worked as a BtoC Financial and Service Advisor at Helsingin OP Bank Ltd. until July 2014.

From there, Joona joined McKinsey & Company, where they held the positions of Internship, Junior Associate, and later Associate from January 2016 to August 2019.

Following their time at McKinsey, Joona joined Verisure in September 2019 as the Strategy and Sales Structure Creation Director. In October 2020, they became the Finance and Strategy Director and eventually assumed the role of Managing Director in January 2023. In these roles, Joona was responsible for various aspects of commercial activities, such as geographical footprint and GtM strategy, sales performance analysis, pricing and product proposition, compensation schemes, and incentives. Joona demonstrated skills in driving business improvements, functional leadership, and leading Management Team priorities.

Joona Vepsäläinen obtained a Master's Degree in the Faculty of Law from the University of Helsinki from 2008 to 2015. In 2013, they also briefly attended the University of the Sunshine Coast, but did not complete a degree or field of study there.
