Financial Analyst

JOB SUMMARY Financial Analyst supports the Finance Manager in building financial models, maintaining databases, capital raising, deal diligence, and tracking and analyzing KPI’s. Financial Analyst will work primarily with Finance and Capital Markets, but will also work cross departmentally with Investments, Analytics, and Technology.   ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Building and maintaining various financial models such as: company model, fund waterfalls, promote forecasts, cash forecast DCF & valuation model. Maintaining databases: investor reporting, loan management platform, schedule of real estate, contingent liabilities schedule Working with technology and analytics team to transform operational data into usable business strategy dashboards Assisting with capital raising Deal due diligence Tracking and analyzing KPIs   QUALIFICATIONS 1-3 years of experience. Engineering, Math, Finance or related bachelor’s degree from top university required. Proficient in the latest version of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Previous real estate / finance experience through coursework, internship, or previous role required. Strong excel skills are a must. Private equity experience strongly desired. Experience with waterfall modelling desired. Candidate must be highly analytical, detail oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude. Candidate will be expected to deliver on long term projects in a timely manner while managing day to day work load. Must be willing to work long hours when necessary. This is not a 9-5 job.
