Mike Fegter

Mike Fegter is an accomplished human resources executive with extensive experience across various industries, including steel manufacturing, transportation, and food production. Currently serving as Vice President of Human Resources at Veritas Steel LLC since April 2023, Mike leads HR, HR Operations, Payroll, and Compensation activities for operations in Wisconsin and Florida. Previous roles include AVP of Human Resources at Hub Group, where oversight extended to over 5,000 employees in North America, and Human Resources Business Leader at Mondelēz International, managing HR and union relations for the North American Biscuits business. Additionally, Mike has held senior HR positions at Hillphoenix, National Express, Navistar Inc., and Workhorse Custom Chassis, demonstrating a strong capability in full life-cycle employment and strategic HR management. Mike holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Labor Relations from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Labor Relations from Kansas State University.
