Ajay A. Bhatia

Ajay A. Bhatia has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ajay A. started their career as a Plant & Process Engineer at Trifarma (India) Ltd. in 1998 before moving on to work as a Process Engineer at Quallion LLC in 2001. Ajay A. then joined AMD as a Packaging Engineer and later became a Sr. Strategic Marketing Engineer.

From 2005 to 2013, Ajay worked at Spansion in various roles including Sr. Marketing Manager - Mobility Products, Director of Product Management and Marketing, and Exec Director & IRO, Finance & Investor Relations. Ajay A. played a key role in leading the marketing group, achieving sales uplift, and shaping Wall Street's perception of Spansion.

In 2013, Ajay became the Director of Marketing and Product Management at Avago Technologies, where they defined strategies and products for the SandForce SSD Controller division. Ajay A. also served as a Startup Advisor during the same period.

Ajay then joined Seagate Technology in 2014, taking on the roles of Director, Strategy, Alliances & Product Management, and later as the GM, Global Flash Business. At Seagate, they were responsible for driving strategy and operations for the flash businesses acquired from LSI/Avago.

In 2019, Ajay joined Veritas as the Exec Director, Business Operations & Strategy. Ajay A. later became the Interim Customer Experience Officer and is currently serving as the Global VP & GM, Data Compliance & Governance.

Throughout their career, Ajay has worked with major companies such as IBM, Facebook, HP, NetApp, Microsoft, Amazon, and Apple, among others. Ajay A. has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive business growth.

Ajay A. Bhatia has an MBA degree in Finance, Marketing Management, and Social Entrepreneurship from Santa Clara University. They also hold an M.S. degree in Chemical Engineering & Solid State Physics from the University of Southern California. Additionally, Ajay has a Diploma in Piping and Plant Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a B.E. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mumbai. They have also earned certifications such as the FY23 Sales Most Valuable Player (MVP) from Veritas Technologies LLC and have been a Level III CFA Candidate in 2014 from the CFA Institute.
