Nilesh Borate

Nilesh Borate has had extensive work experience in the software industry. Nilesh began their career at Colayer in 2004 as a Software Engineer in Application Development. Nilesh then moved on to Versant, where they worked on the Systems & Platforms team as a Software Engineer from 2004 to 2006. Nilesh then joined IBM as a Software Engineer at the Linux Technology Center in India Software Labs. During their time at IBM, they were involved in the development and automation testing of Linux Operating System products, as well as defect debugging and fixing in C/C++ code. In 2012, Nilesh joined Symantec as a Software Quality Assurance Lead in Enterprise Cyber Security, where they remained until 2020. Currently, Nilesh serves as a Technical Lead for Software Quality Assurance in Enterprise Data Protection and Backup at Veritas Technologies LLC.

Nilesh Borate has a Master's degree in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Nilesh also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same university.
