Pawan Waghalkar

Pawan Waghalkar has a strong background in software engineering with experience spanning over 20 years. Pawan began their career as a Software Engg. at Kale Consultants in 2000, where they worked until 2002. Pawan then joined Avebury Logic as a Software Engineer. In 2004, they joined Versant India Pvt. Ltd. as a Sr. Software Engineer, focusing on kernel development for the Versant Object database. Pawan then moved on to Zensar Technologies in 2007, where they worked as a Project Lead on the kernel team of PostgreSQL at Fujitsu Software development. Pawan was responsible for developing features for PostgreSQL and system-level programming for storage devices. In 2009, they joined Symantec as a Principal Software Engineer, where they were a member of the Veritas Netbackup Customer Focus Team. Pawan handled escalations, performed analysis, and developed and delivered solutions. Pawan remained with Symantec until 2015, when they transitioned to Veritas Technologies LLC. At Veritas, Pawan initially served as a Principal Software Engineer and was later promoted to the position of Senior Principal Software Engineer.

Pawan Waghalkar completed a Diploma in Advanced Computing from the Center for Development of Advanced Computing in 1999. Prior to that, they earned a bachelor's degree in Computer Applications from Maharshi Dayanand Sarswati University between 1995 and 1998.
