Phil Donnelly

Phil Donnelly began their career as the Executive Vice President and General Counsel at SKBHC Holdings LLC in December 2010. In this role, they were responsible for the strategy and corporate governance of two bank holding companies and two banks. Phil led negotiations for nine bank acquisitions, eventually merging with a tenth bank to create a nearly $10B financial institution. Subsequently, Donnelly started their own legal and consulting firm, Philip A. Donnelly, PLC, in September 2017, where they provided legal services to executive management and boards of directors in various industries. Most recently, Donnelly joined Veritex Community Bank in May 2022 as the Senior Executive Vice President and General Counsel.

Phil Donnelly attended St. John's University from 1984 to 1987, where they earned their Juris Doctor degree in Law.
