Robert Raney

Robert Raney is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in commercial real estate and lending. Currently serving as Vice President of Commercial Real Estate at Veritex Community Bank since August 2019, Robert previously held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer at Texan Bank from July 2018 to July 2019. Prior roles include Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending and Vice President of Commercial Lending at The Bank of River Oaks between May 2005 and June 2018, and Bank Officer in the Middle Market Banking Group at Whitney National Bank from June 2001 to May 2005. Robert Raney earned a Bachelor of Science in Management with a focus on Finance from Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business from 1997 to 2001.
