Arjen Gaasbeek

Arjen Gaasbeek has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the finance industry. Arjen is currently working as a Managing Director at Verition Fund Management LLC. In this role, they are responsible for leading the Arbitrage team. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Director for APAC Business Operations & Development at the same company.

Before joining Verition Fund Management LLC, Arjen owned Gaaz-QT Consultancy Pte. Ltd., a consultancy company, where they worked as the Owner from January 2020 to May 2021.

Arjen also worked as a Managing Director at Flow Traders from September 2016 to December 2019. At Flow Traders, they held a senior leadership position.

In the past, Arjen served in various roles at other companies including Celera Group, Ingensoma Trading Group Ltd, ABN AMRO Clearing, and Optiver.

Arjen Gaasbeek completed their education at various institutions. In 1989, they graduated from Christelijk College Groevenbeek, although no specific degree or field of study is provided. Subsequently, they pursued a Masters degree in Financial Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 1995 to 2001. Later on, in 2015 and 2016, Arjen attended Henley Business School, where they obtained a Master's degree in Hedge Fund Executive Program. Additionally, in 2008, they obtained the Responsible officer type 1 & 2 certification from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission.
