Robert D. Ellis

Robert D. Ellis has extensive experience as a General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer in the finance industry. Robert D. most recently held the position of General Counsel at Verition Fund Management LLC since May 2018. Prior to that, they served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Manikay Partners from March 2013 to February 2017. Robert D. also held similar positions at Plural Investments, LLC from 2008 to 2012 and at Integrated Finance Limited / Marakon Associates from 2005 to 2008. In their role at Integrated Finance Limited / Marakon Associates, they served as the General Counsel for a financial boutique and affiliated consulting firm, as well as the Chief Compliance Officer of affiliated investment advisers.

Robert D. Ellis holds a J.D. degree from Harvard Law School. Robert D. also received a B.A. in Philosophy from Yale University.
