Srinivas Shilagani

Srinivas Shilagani has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. They started their career at Bloomberg L.P in 2004 as a Senior Software Engineer and worked there until 2009. They then joined Morgan Stanley as a Vice President from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, they moved to Jump Trading LLC and worked as a Senior Software Engineer in both the Stat Arb and HFT teams until 2018. Following that, they served as an Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co. from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, they joined Engineers Gate as a Senior Quantitative Engineer for a year before moving to Akuna Capital as a Senior Developer from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Trading Technologies at Verition Fund Management LLC.

Srinivas commenced their academic journey in 1997 at the University of Mumbai, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2001, they then continued their education at Syracuse University from 2001 to 2003, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science. Following this, from 2005 to 2008, Srinivas Shilagani attended New York University, where they completed their Master of Science degree in Financial Engineering.
