Steve Kim has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Steve is currently working as an Associate General Counsel at Verition Fund Management LLC since 2021. Previously, Steve founded Starboard Legal Services LLP in 2020, where they worked until 2021. Prior to that, they worked as Senior Counsel at Bridgewater Associates from 2012 to 2020. Steve also served as VP & Counsel at Societe Generale from 2011 to 2012. Steve began their career as an Associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP from 2008 to 2011. Steve also worked as an Associate at Thacher Proffitt & Wood LLP from 2006 to 2008. Steve'searly experience includes serving as VP Legal & Compliance at Bear Stearns & Co. from 2004 to 2006.

Steve Kim completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics at Columbia University from 1995 to 1999. Steve then pursued further education and obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Fordham University School of Law between 2000 and 2003, specializing in the field of Law.
