Josh Sidell

Chief Experience Officer at Verity Credit Union

Josh joined Verity's executive team in 2022, bringing over 15 years of experience in the financial services industry. During his tenure, he has spent seven years leading Verity's sales and member experience efforts, overseeing the opening of new branches, expanding online and mobile access, and integrating branches into the communities they serve.

Josh's decision to become a senior leader at Verity was driven by his passion for improving the lives of others, particularly those who have historically been excluded. He strongly believes in Verity's mission to create systemic change by providing affordable financial services and increasing access to wealth-building programs, ultimately working towards closing the wealth gap.

According to Josh, credit unions' cooperative models are well-suited to address the challenging task of promoting equity and prosperity in the financial system, benefiting the entire community.

Josh holds an MBA from Western Governors University and a bachelor's degree in English from Western Washington University. He is a member of Filene's i3 program, which focuses on innovative solutions to consumer financial problems within credit unions. Additionally, he serves as a board member of the Delridge Neighborhood Development Association, actively participating in the finances, property development, and strategic planning committees.
