Pier'Jea Lyon

Pier'jea Lyon, MS ABD has a diverse work experience background, with roles in various industries such as finance, social justice, tax services, manufacturing, and the military. Starting as a Learning and Development Manager in the US Army, Pier'jea Lyon progressed to roles such as Program Manager, Training and Development Manager, and Senior Human Resources Manager. Later, Pier'jea Lyon transitioned to civilian roles, working as a Production Supervisor at Amcor, an Organizational Effectiveness Manager at Jade Thurman Tax Service, and most recently as Director of Human Resources and Training at Verity Credit Union. Each role involved significant responsibilities in leadership, training, development, and strategic planning.

Pier'jea Lyon is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at The Chicago School, with an expected completion date in 2024. Pier'jea holds a Master's Degree in Criminology from American Military University earned from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University in 2012. Additionally, Pier'jea Lyon obtained a Certificate in Women's Entrepreneurship from Cornell University in 2021 and completed certifications in Basics of Cross Cultural Communication and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2022 and 2021, respectively.
