Friso Pankonin

Friso Pankonin has a diverse work experience in the creative industry. Friso started their career in 2005 as the owner of Graytables, a creative studio specializing in photography, film, art direction, and design. There, they helped clients bring their brands to life with powerful imagery and tailored solutions.

In 2019, Friso worked for BrightPensioen as a commercial film director and photographer. Friso created animations and commercials for the FOR Campaign, raising awareness about a tax reduction policy. Friso also composed 8-bit game music for the campaign.

Friso collaborated with Fifth House Music in 2021 as a music video director, capturing portraits and directing music videos that translated the artist's vision and creativity into visually impactful content.

At Verivox GmbH, Friso served as an art director and communications manager. Friso developed signage and wayfinding strategies for a large office complex, managing printing processes and ensuring successful execution.

As a commercial film director and art director at Sibando UG, Friso directed commercials and corporate films, developed brand identity for an e-learning platform, and managed budgets and deadlines for multiple projects.

In their role as an art director at Tommy Hilfiger, Friso created a new photography style for the global webshop, ensuring consistency across all fashion divisions. Friso also served as a commercial film director. Friso worked as an art director at Calvin Klein, adapting ecommerce guidelines to the European market.

Additionally, Friso has worked as a commercial film director for CCC Shoes & Bags and as a commercial photographer for Rechtsorde, creating engaging campaign photography that effectively conveyed the brand's image and message.

Friso Pankonin attended the Netherlands Film Academy from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a degree in BFT with a focus on Camera/Light.
