Adam Barron

Adam Barron is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in network security and managed security services. Since joining Verizon in June 2006, Adam has progressed through various roles, currently serving as Senior Director of Network Security Planning, where responsibilities include developing strategies and roadmaps to combat cybersecurity threats. Previous positions within Verizon involved oversight of threat management, incident response, and vulnerability management, as well as leadership of multiple threat management teams. Prior to Verizon, Adam held roles at NetSec and UUNET, focusing on deploying managed security solutions and serving as a subject matter expert. Adam began the career as a Network Engineer at Venable after earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from The George Washington University.
