Ahsan Baseer

Ahsan Baseer is a software engineer intern at Verizon and a Basta Fellow at BASTA as of December 2023. Ahsan leads a student club at Brooklyn College aimed at mentoring freshman computer science students and has significant experience in software development from various roles, including a software engineer program at Google and as an iOS developer with CodePath. Ahsan has developed backend systems for The City Tutors using Python, Django, and SQLite, while also contributing as a full stack developer at CUNY Tech Prep and the City University of New York School of Law. Ahsan began a career in finance as an associate banker at J.P. Morgan before transitioning to technology. Ahsan is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Brooklyn College.
